Consul General Liu Kan Met with President of PHCCIMA

On February 27th, Consul General Liu Kan met with Mr. Emeka, president of Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mine and Agriculture (PHCCIMA)

Consul General Liu extended his welcome to Mr. Emeka, and briefly introduced bilateral relations, economic and trade exchanges between China and Nigeria. He pointed out River State was second strongest State in economy only after Lagos State, and a lot of Chinese personnel and companies developed in River State; Port Harcourt was an importance port city. The Consulate General attaches great importance to developing relationship with friends from all walks of life in River State, and welcome more successful businessmen and companies to do business with China.

President Emeka thanked warm reception from Consul General Liu, and briefly introduced PHCCIMA. He said PHCCIMA was willing to establish good relations with Consulate General, and would endeavor to promote economic and trade exchanges and cooperation between River States and Chinese relevant parties. President Emeka also invited Consul General Liu Kan to visit River State at his convenience.

PHCCIMA is the biggest commercial and industrial Chamber in Nigeria with around 900 members or member companies, including foreign companies investing and operating in River State.
